My strongest medium is gouache, I find its flexibility freeing, it gives me the room to create a piece with however much depth and strength I choose.
Here I followed the influence of artist Cristina Troufa to create a project. Her consistent followed my theme of isolation in the pandemic. Her pieces explore what the solitude can do to a person. I focused on the relationship with technology this period of life changed. Her piercing gaze, confronting the viewer was the focus of this piece.
This piece is in the style of Cristina Troufa, here I got to practice her style.

I first practiced on Adobe Illustrator, sketching and rearranging the limbs to ensure it was somewhat anatomically correct for the final piece.
