A closing page to showcase my skills in different mediums.

This piece depicts how I feel in a moment of in-between-ness, my emotions, feelings, thoughts, soul feels like they’re spilling out and holding me as I am trying to redefine myself.

Oil gives me the opportunity to mirror life as close as possible.

Below is a pastiche of Valeria Duca’s artwork, she had an insightful selection on life through Covid. Duca’s art usually has a surreal narrative, sometimes a descent into madness, with a blurring of the edges of normality, at times flirting with the surreal. She has a very strong lockdown inspired collection between 2020-2021, made in her NYC home.

The piece on the right is inspired by her art style, whilst stuck at home sometimes the only thing to do felt like emptying out the pantry whilst binging the next viral Netflix series, this depicts how I felt often during the lockdown.
